Inspire Network has been privileged to have distinguished speakers from various industries and backgrounds, all willing to give of their time, experience and wisdom to bless the next generation.

Glenn Seah

Mr Glenn Seah is the Senior Vice President and Head of Legal, Company Secretary and Compliance at the Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX). Mr Seah is responsible for driving the exchange’s compliance with local and international regulations and best practices across the globe. Mr Seah has deep experience in law enforcement and litigation, financial markets regulation and compliance. He joined SGX in February 2012 from Standard Chartered Bank, where he was Regional Head, Wholesale Bank Compliance in Singapore and South-East Asia. Mr Seah was also a Deputy Public Prosecutor and State Counsel with the Attorney-General’s Chambers for several years, covering a broad spectrum of criminal law, including trial and appellate work, cross-border mutual legal assistance and the revision of Singapore’s criminal laws and procedures. Mr Seah holds a law degree from the National University of Singapore and is admitted to the Singapore Bar. But a much more fun fact is that he is also admitted to the global Liverpool fan base. He gets unreasonably grumpy if the Reds lose over the weekend, which unfortunately still happens far too often for his liking. Luckily for him, knowing that God is in charge helps to cheer him up. He is especially blessed to have a capable wife and two happy children, 13 and 11.

Raymond Lim

Raymond Lim has more than 30 years experience in the Financial industry. In the last 23 years, he was a senior level Vice President of Citibank NA.

He built the credit card business for Citibank Singapore, developed the Citiphone banking platform and revamped the branch sales force to focus on wealth management products.

He was the Country Business Manager (CBM) of Citibank Philippines during the 1998 Asian Financial crisis. He later became the CBM of Citi Handlowy where he merged the consumer banking business of Citibank with Bank Handlowy of Poland.

Raymond spent 2 years in Citi’s European Region Office before taking on the position of CBM Turkey. His last foreign assignment was in China, where he was Deputy President for Consumer Banking of Guangdong Development Bank (now known as China Guangfa Bank).

Raymond retired from Citi in April 2011 and is now pursuing his personal interests. He is Chairman and Elder of Church of Singapore Balestier and is active in ministry.

Benjamin Foo

Benjamin Foo, is an entrepreneur-investor and author of iPOSSIBLE! How to Achieve Success Faster in Whatever You Do: Turning Impossibilities to Possibilities. iPOSSIBLE is a book that inspires readers with new perspectives and practical strategy and steps to reach their fullest possibilities. He seeks to engage youth and young adults and help change people’s future, drawing on over 20 years building businesses, teams and people.

His experience spans from starting new businesses to playing a key role previously as executive vice president at the Singapore Exchange. He successfully pioneered the SGX AsiaClear business, the first of its kind in Asia-Pacific and a market leader. Prior to that, he was Executive Director at Phillip GNI Futures Pte Ltd and Vice President at the Singapore International Monetary Exchange. He began his career as an Assistant Superintendent of Customs and Excise.

While achieving business objectives, Benjamin also built strong, cohesive and highly-motivated teams. His passion for talent and people development caused him to mentor, coach and empower colleagues from new graduates and young scholars to senior managers.He has been also an engaging speaker at business and industry events in the US, Europe and Asia. He holds an MBA in marketing and finance and is a Member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.

Jehu Chan

Mr. Jehu Chan wears many hats: Husband, Father, Engineer, Banker, Investor and Author. Jehu graduated from the University of Singapore in Engineering (Hons) in 1973 and MBA (Finance) from University of British Columbia, Vancouver BC in 1979. He was also the Chief Executive Officer of the Overseas Union Bank of Canada whose Headquarter was in Toronto from 1990 to 1995. He served as a senior banker in both local and foreign banks in Singapore and recently retired after 33 years in the banking industry.

Danny Lien

Danny Lien is one of the founders of Amos International in 2004 and Managing Director of Amos International since then. He has spent close to 30 years in the marine industy. Having learnt the ropes of the trade from his father who was in the same industry, he continued his career in the marine industry as an entrepreneur, starting numerous successful joint ventures.

Mr. Danny Lien holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Miami, USA, Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and recently completed the Owner President Management Program from Harvard Business School.

Danny is also the winner of the Rotary-ASME Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2009 and an honoree of the Spirit of Enterprise Award 2010. He was also the Singapore Armed Forces Nsmen of th Year in 2012 and was the recipient of two State medals, the Commendation Medal (Military) in 2013 and the Long Service Medal (Military) in 2015. Danny is currently the President of the Singapore Association of Shipsuppliers & Services and the Vice Chairman of the Spring Singapore supported Business Leaders Alumni Club.

Jon Mason

Jon is CEO and Principal Consultant of Elaura, a business helping MNCs to map and manage their talent, as well as founder of hoozyu, a programme helping young people to understand themselves better and make more sustainable life and career choices. Jon’s current clients include Coca Cola, Shell, DBS, RBS and Visa. He is from NZ, married to an English wife and with 4 children, born in Old South Wales, New South Wales (2) and Singapore.

Clement Ee

Clement is the founder of a local charity, The Love-Aid Project. But in the day time he is also a lawyer. Clement graduated with an LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Birmingham, UK in 2004 and an LLM in Commercial Law from Leicester University, UK in 2005. Prior to entering legal practice in Singapore, Clement taught law undergraduates at Leicester University.

Captain Budi

“Veteran SIA pilot moonlights as father to over 70 orphans” – that is an unlikely thing to hear about a successful pilot from one of the top airlines in the world. A 1999 news report on the dire situation in West Timor inspired the Captain Budi, a veteran SIA pilot, and his wife to take action. Since then, the Roslin Orphanage was birthed, where Captain Budi and his wife aims to provide orphans with warmth, love and a safe environment to live in. In 2009, Captain Budi was simultaneously named CNN’s Top Ten Heroes as well as Channel News Asia’s Asian of the Year for his humanitarian works in West Timor. 

Eugene Seah

Eugene Seah is the founder of Trainium Academy, and one of Singapore’s most engaging, entertaining and effective trainers specialising in personal branding, sales and leadership. He has been interviewed by various media including TV, radio and the newspapers for his insightful views.

Eugene has over 15 years of experience in Leadership, Marketing, Communications and Personal Branding. Having worked many years in multinationals and managed teams across Asia Pacific, he has a strong grasp of cultural differences and how to leverage on individual strengths to project powerful impressions.
In the past two decades, Eugene has won several awards recognising his communication and leadership skills, and has often been invited to speak at major events and conferences, recently appearing on Channel 5’s Talking Pointas a panelist.
